Always nice to see a male Red-backed shrike, a little twitch to Stiffkey Fen after work, was well worth the effort!

A female Nightjar off the East Bank at Cley NWT last evening, best views I've had in years! Bonus Glossy ibis flew in, onto a nearby pool, to make the evening even better!

Only a single Pyramidal orchid at the roadside nature reserve neat Little Walsingham, though vegetation is rather tall this year - 47 Common spotted orchid are now past their best!

Seems like I've found two Caspian terns at Cley this week, a 47 year wait, then 2 in 6 days!

Seawatching this morning, when the local wots-up group pings with 2 Whoopers west over Salthouse. I run out to look for them but, find a Purple heron flying over the far side of the Eye Field - heading west! I did see the Whoopers later, on Pat's pool. 😎
