Bit late to tweet but 2023 marked my best ever year on patch! 156 species recorded at RSPB Rainham Marshes 166 overall patch list. Highlights of Osprey, hoopoe, LSW, LT Skua, Glossy ibis, Whooper swan, Kittiwakes BWS, Bullfinch, Guillemot, Redstart, Iceland gull, PF goose and much more!!

February ended in good fashion with 19 waxwing further complimenting an already excellent back end of month at the closing stage. 108 sp at the coastal strip, highlights included cetti's, nordic jackdaw, black redstart, water pipit, white wagtail, plus slav grebe (pers Lucy J Murgatroyd)
