Today is #WorldParkinsonsDay2024 🌷 Parkinson's is the fastest growing neurological condition in the world and currently there is no cure. Our BioResource has a large cohort of Parkinson's patients who are willing to be involved in research 🙌

Today we say goodbye to our IMID and NAFLD Coordinator Amber❤️ Amber joined the BioResource in 2017 and has single-handedly opened 63 sites across the projects 🙌

She will be missed by everyone and we wish her all the luck in her exciting new job! 🎉

Today is #InternationalWomensDay 🙎‍♀️🎊 Did you know that women are still underrepresented in clinical trials? At our BioResource, 60% of our participants are women who are waiting to take part in research. By volunteering, they are helping to address this inequality 🙌 #IWD24

Did you know rare diseases aren't that rare?

With around one in 17 of us directly affected by a disease NCL_RareDisease are working with Newcastle Health Innovation Partners (NHIP) and Newcastle Hospitals to make sure treatments aren't rare either.
