08:38 Binbrook Fire Station attended a RTC on Grimsby Road, Binbrook. Crews used a ladder to release the driver and used small tools to isolate the vehicle.
22:29 Binbrook Fire Station & Market Rasen Fire Station attended a property fire on Kirmond Road, Binbrook. Crews used ladders, 1 hose reel jet, 1 water back-pack to extinguish the fire and small tools to isolate the gas supply.
Tonight on drill night we had RTC training with a slight difference, 5 Firefighters, no OIC. This helps train the crews to think about things they wouldn't need to think about, for instance safe systems of work, extrication plans etc. Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue
16:26 Binbrook Fire Station and Louth Fire Station attended a 3 vehicle RTC on Main Road, Burgh on Bain. Crews used Holmatro cutting gear and a Hilti Saw to remove the roof of 1 vehicle to release 1 casualty.
18:12 Binbrook Fire Station attended Kirmond Road, Binbrook to a chimney fire. Crew used one 9 metre ladder, one roof ladder and one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire that was caused by a build up of soot.
We have 3 appliances - Caistor fire station Lincoln North & Humberside Fire & Rescue Brigg on Moor Lane, Caistor dealing with a shed on fire. 2 further crews en-route from Immingham East & Market Rasen Fire Station shed is approx 200 x 30 metres, crews using hose reels & 1 main jet. 23:16 - Louth Fire Station (2 crews) and Binbrook Fire Station attended Church Street,Louth to flat fire. Severe damage to flat and contents. Extinguished using 1 hosereel jet, 6 Breathing Apparatus & 3 Thermal Imaging Cameras. Cause: Carelessly discarded smoking material
