Aside from learning at OT conference on the road, I think an underrated occupation is trying out local favorites in terms of restaurants.

NO WAY!!! There is a Cow’s Ice Cream at Halifax’s waterfront, too? I am going to have decision overload for dessert at #caot2024 .

If there is another CAOT_ACE conference in Halifax, you bet I am more than happy to come back. I am already getting KO’ed by how awesome the food is!

In Halifax, you better book reservations ahead for restaurants on the Waterfront. They get busy FAST!

I just have a piece of work piling on after another ALWAYS! Sometimes I wonder how I can juggle so many things at once and stay afloat in all of them.

I don’t know which is better now- Galway’s seafood chowder or Halifax’s lobster and corn chowder. It’s really up for debate. I like the creaminess and richness for both.

I think I am a “Have great food? Will travel” kind of OT conference attendee for international conferences.

One note to self- if an OT conference’s location is near a waterfront, you know you are going to get some quality restaurants (albeit it can also be on the expensive side).

My Stanbridge University MSOT thesis group will be defending their master thesis at #caot2024 on Friday. Not sure what the reactions will be in light of Moira Peña’s closing keynote last year.

Body clock to self- it’s already noon at Halifax. 😬 At least I am glad I come the day before #caot2024 .

If OT community thinks the timeline to organize TEDx events is too fast, think about your comment from another perspective. Certain ideas have super short shelf life and/or are constantly updating. Dragging on too long- certain talks your team would publish will get outdated!

OT profession has been saying they are in the planning to plan mode for TEDx events for years. Every year I hear “Please have patience. We need to study how these events work. We need to block off time to take on such activism efforts.”

With how many sociopolitical issues…
