So proud of the FIRST annual missing sidewalk report by Toronto Cycling and Pedestrian Projects. This was inspired by the annual cycling report and our discussions with Walk Toronto! Make sure to dig into the details and look out for this report in the years to come. #walkto

Thanks raju mudhar for covering today's memorial ride in the Toronto Star, as well as to the hundreds who took part. Joey Schwartz of ARC and Amber Morley were quoted in this piece. #BikeTO #TOpoli #VisionZero #YouNeverRideAlone thestar.com/news/gta/hundr…
Choices have consequences. While a family grieves + Amber Morley -a champion of CompleteStreets- affixes flowers to memorial for 26-yr-old Navjot Kaur, the "BalanceonBloor" grp (dominated by wealthy homeowners) continued its fight against safe roads at @KingswayBIA festival.
"For me, gatherings like today and tragedies like the one we’re here to acknowledge are the rationale and justification for why this kind of infrastructure is critically important” - Amber Morley thestar.com/news/gta/hundr… via @torontostar
BTW, there's also a "Leader" story in The Economist suggesting ways to reduce deaths tied to car bloat: "As well as making cars lighter, you can make accidents rarer and less deadly." economist.com/leaders/2024/0…
.Julie Dabrusin we've talked to you about this. What can Canada do to parallel this US initiative?
CAUTION! A number of pedestrians &cyclists have fallen and one was very seriously injured at the new Bloor-St George protected intersection. The problem appears to be the depth of the curb cut. Warning signs required asap. #biketo Toronto Cycling and Pedestrian Projects
As we stood filming this clip today, we looked across the road to see that a woman had just fallen at the gutter, SW corner. Staff at Bata Shoe Museum know of other instances of falls, including the serious cycling injury on August 30. Dianne Saxe - Toronto City Council Ward 11, UR Toronto Cycling and Pedestrian Projects
