This is so sad. Johnny Gaudreau and his brother were cycling when they struck and killed by a drunk driver. His sister was supposed to get married today. His little kids were supposed to have a dad today. cbc.ca/sports/hockey/…

Whenever I leave home on my bike my wife says "be safe". Can we start asking this of our loved ones leaving home by car? Because no matter how safely I ride my fate is largely in the hands of motorists.

Bike Mayor Halifax I've been wanting to discretely capture a bunch of times people tell me to "ride safe" and put it in a video. I'll now we have a basically functional bike network when people don't feel the need to say that anymore.

That feeling when you recognize a bike outside the local business you're going to. ☺️

Had a fantastic morning ride with the folks from #KidicalMassHFX. They had a HUGE turnout today, 218 people took to the streets for the pyjama ride!

Thanks to all the folks that came out to volunteer and make this ride possible. It's great seeing different groups like #CriticalMassHFX #HalifaxBikeParty and #CoffeeOustideHFX come together for some family fun.

It's Bike Bus Friday! We biked to school and found the kids gathered around another cycling family. What's so interesting? Bike Rats!
