📷 bikemagazineuk When it’s nippy here, there’s a Ducati UK DesertX in the garage and a new trail across Morocco… The 23.30 from Portsmouth to Santander is calling. Richard Fincher has headed south on an excursion for Bike. Updates to follow... #transmoroccantrail #mitasmoto

News from the road: over the Picos and first fill. Sun is a trick. It was 4˚C and claggy up top. Fresh Mitas Enduro Trail+ work very fine for a deep tread tyre, despite an issue which shall be revealed later...

Got a 6-page interview with Jake Dixon in the new Bike Magazine We talk about why GPs are so bloody difficult, trying to make it as a Brit in GPs, how to get more Brits in GPs, why he's attracted to WSBK, getting sacked from his only proper job and much more 😎

Also got an 8-page feature in Bike Magazine about Freddie Spencer's historic 250/500cc double in 1985, which involved staggering from the 500 podium in 35-degree heat & climbing onto his 250 just in time to make the grid, only for his legs not to work for the push start!

Grand day at Mallory Park with the BMW Motorrad Performance Academy. One-to-one tuition from star riders, relaxed atmosphere, loads of space on track, pie for lunch. This fella - Niall, I think he said his name was - seemed fairly brisk.
