From my 6 years as dept chair, my two most important lessons are: (1) If you truly care for faculty, students, and staff as people, they will forgive you when you make mistakes (2)When someone is unhappy, they are unhappy with the Chair, remind yourself they still care about you.

The role of using selection weights depend on different inferential tasks in multiple biobanks with diverse recruitment strategies. Our paper used expertise and collaborations from biostatistics, medical informatics, epidemiology and survey sampling to explore this issue.

Really enjoyed working on this piece with two of my smartest colleagues @umich, Kayte Spector-Bagdady and Jenna Wiens umichPreHealth . In this review, we holistically discuss the role of genetics and AI in precision health, including in prevention and primary care.
