January 5th, Reader Cadets from days gone by are invited to Harris to celebrate 10yrs of teaching cadets to fence. Please let us know that you'd like to come back and say hello..no fencing necessary :-)

Due to administrative oversight there is no fencing today 26th January 2019 for the Reader Cadets.

It is with the greatest sadness that Bexley Fencing Club has to announce the sudden passing of Paul Walker on the evening of Thursday 14th March from what is believed to be natural causes. He was a friend, fencing partner and our club treasurer - he will be missed immensely.

No Reader Cadets this Saturday 18th May '19 as School requires our hall. Next week back to normal.

Due to the holiday period which challenges our cost/benefit, we are suspending fencing on Mondays for the Month of August 2019, returning on the 2nd of September. So if you want to keep able, return to fitness the last chance to do this before we break is this coming Monday.

Government advice is now to avoid Pubs, Clubs and Social activities. Quite a broad brush and as a result BFC will close down our Fencing. We will not restart until the 8th June (Adults) and September 12th (Cadets) at the earliest. Thereafter it will be reviewed under advisement

The Adult aspect of BFC will not reopen 8th June as we had hoped. It will remain closed until we gratefully receive guidance indicating it is reasonable to reopen. Watch this space for when we can reopen and we hope you do return if you can to support the club in its 70th year.

Good news (for some). We restarting the Reader Cadet class this Saturday, at least for a while. Please also see bexleyfencingclub.co.uk/covid-19/ Adults - we are still in discussion with with our venue, so please bear with us.

Another update on Adult fencing at Sidcup - IT IS DELAYED BY AT LEAST TWO WEEKS. NOT HAPPENING NOW ON THE 26TH OCTOBER FOLLOWING BFA GUIDANCE FURTHER TO GOVERNMENT COVID-19 DIRECTIVES
