Hmmm, what caused this?

To clarify the Daily Mail’s position, suburban cul-de-sacs that prevent rat-running (an LTN in all but name) are great.

If, however, you want to prevent rat-running on your urban street from, you’re part of a sinister plot to ‘restrict fweeedom!’

People fighting low traffic neighbourboods might not realise it, but they are implicity asking for more dangerous streets.

Lot of people dunking on this, but what I think they're missing.. 11 miles across London is driving within a mile or two of a million-plus homes.

That's going to take 90 minutes *anywhere*, longer in rural places w/ bad roads. Speed is inversely proportional to density.
