The tragic shooting yesterday in Pittsburgh is not only an attack on the Jewish community, but on all communities. We are people of many faiths, but are united in one spirit. May we love and pray for our Jewish communities who have been impacted by this horrific tragedy.

Mr. President, I respectfully disagree. To associate this crowd with BORING is an unfair attack on BORING people. BORING would be a step up! #DemocraticDebate

Here's a look at #Dorian's timing and expected impacts. The worst rain, wind, and surge will be mid-afternoon Thursday through the evening. Things gradually improve overnight. #scwx #ncwx

Yesterday I had the honor of welcoming the Deputy Consul General of Canada to the Canadian Film Day at Coastal Carolina University. Mr. Kirk Duguid talked about the good relationship between the US and Canada and we discussed opportunities for strong partnerships going forward.

I’m grateful for real leaders in Columbia like Murrell Smith who are rational enough to disagree with reckless spending in Washington but realize that once it’s spent,we can use it to help our state rather than sending it off to California.A victory for common sense in Columbia!

We had some unplanned fireworks over MB today. While this was done in a way to that ensured the safety of our citizens,I have concerns about how the federal government allowed a foreign adversary to fly from Montana to our doorstep.

Today is the beginning of celebrating Women’s History Month. Did you know that in Horry and Georgetown counties we have 4 female Mayors and 2 female Police Chiefs? That’s pretty amazing when you consider that women weren’t allowed to vote until 1920!Let’s continue leading ladies!

Thankfully Idalia is taking it easy on us for now. Hoping our new sand fencing and sea oats survive! Stay inside and please do not drive around or go in to the ocean. Be safe everyone!

And just like that the sun is shining! Thankfully Myrtle Beach had no major issues from Idalia. We are here to help our neighboring municipalities if needed. Continued prayers for those who were so impacted in Florida.
