Thank you Lingjing. I like the term ‘invisible magic’ here as it’s often hard to pin down your impact as a DM. Reminds me of ‘tacit knowledge’ - knowledge that isn’t easy to express or write down such as intuition & emotional intelligence. It really resonates with me as a DM.
