30 years ago today, the Dunblane tragedy shook Scotland. I was just in primary school, and I remember the relief on my mum’s face when she picked me up that day. I didn’t understand it then. I understand it now. 30 years on - We remember. We learn. We honour the lives lost.

On Saturday a sticky toffee sweet took out my front tooth. Today a very talented dentist gave me a smile back. It’s not a Hollywood smile, but it’s a happy one. I’m pleased with it.
