Both the Marelli Impul Z and Eneos X Prime GR Supra are in the pits now for repair work. While Baguette is leaving the pits again, the Rookie Racing Toyota is getting pushed into the garage. The latter was one of the favorites going into this weekend. #SUPERGT

SUPER GT has now a new qualifying format for 2024 based on aggregate lap times. As part of the overhaul, lap times of each car from Q1 and Q2 sessions will be combined to determine who gets to start the race from pole position.

The new quali format already shows a different approach to the previous years. While most GT500s would immediately leave the pits to get the tyres up to temperature for one push lap at the end, now it took almost 2 minutes before two would leave. Saving tyres is key! #SUPERGT
