Could someone please point me to the alternative support the 1.325 million current #PIP claimants set to lose their daily living allowance are supposed to access? I can’t find it.

There are many petitions focussing on some aspects of the cuts but only this one covers all the disabled people affected and carers, and it calls for a complete sea change in how the government makes policy with disabled people, to avoid this catastrophic state of affairs again.

Walked past the 76 new affordable homes being built in Didsbury today. 30 of these homes are for social rent, with new NHS medical centre too. Good to work with local councillor and social housing champion, Councillor Debbie Hilal on this project to deliver new social housing in her ward.🏡

To be clear: these 'concessions' are not new and do not make any meaningful difference to the hardship these cuts to disability support will cause. Over 400,000 people still likely to be pushed into severe hardship, at risk of needing a food bank. See Ayaz Manji thread, below.
