The Cajon Park PTSA has been so welcoming to Tim and I this year. This care package was dropped off on my desk. I feel blessed. Thank you CP PTSA. I am Falcon PROUD!

Kids need to know WHY they’re learning what they’re learning. Lessons and activities need relevance beyond the classroom. We can’t just sell education as a reward in of itself. Kids aren’t buying it. Enter 5D Model-Purpose. Explain the WHY.. make connections...spiral back. Buy-in

Our first #LiteracyLap to highlight literacy in classrooms at Red Hawks brings us to Mrs. Willams’ class! Every night her students read a book they enjoy. The students then respond to writing prompts designed to enhance reading comprehension! #santeesd Kristin Baranski, Ed.D Dr. Stephanie Pierce

What went well? What went wrong? How can I make this experience better? Reflection and anticipation. Model those executive functioning skills. Students are watching. Happy Sunday...reading on the patio :) Experience Alone Is Not Enough sumo.ly/13SSs via David Geurin
