The three game series to open the Big Ten Tournament was fun but overly taxing for whoever won the whole thing. Right move in the long run.

I'm a big Dinkins guy and Reynolds very clearly has the juice. TE is the least of Penn State's concerns, even if there's some degree of production drop.

Penn State opens up at No. 2 in the AP Poll. Nittany Lions eyeing high expectations this year. Like always, should come down to just a few games.

My current conspiracy theory is that college football programs run about a third of the slightly strange, recruiting centric twitter accounts under the guise of being a fan.

You can't take conceptual renderings as 100% truth, but worth noting that the Beaver Stadium renovations will be even taller than the current temporary bleacher structure - which is already taller than the previous seating area.

Everyone talks about the west side of Beaver Stadium, but I did some counting, and some rough math to figure out how much Penn State is making from these two sections this season. tinyurl.com/39t7m2yk

If you’re trying to quantify brand value differences- Indiana gets a $50 million deal over 20 years. Beaver Stadium’s naming rights are $50 million over 15 years.

One of the limiting factors for college naming rights deals is eyeballs. Seven-ish home games compared to NFL schedule. Average viewership numbers also way less for college than average NFL game. [Only three college games went 20 million+ in 2024 while NFL average is 17 mill]

This stuff is going to get exhausting. The SEC scheduled weak because there was no incentive not to. Now there is, so it’s changing to something only negligibly better than the Big Ten. League doesn’t get moral high ground for finally doing what it should have already been doing
