🇨🇦 Denis Shapovalov earns his first clay court win of 2024, defeating 🇦🇷 Facundo Diaz Acosta 6-4, 3-6, 6-3 to advance to the second round of Madrid.

Topsy turvy match, Shapo won 6 of the final 7 games.

The German did far better in poor weather conditions to take out the Canadian.
