Cllr Larry Ferguson, Daniel Francis MP Cllr Wendy Perfect & Abena Oppong-Asare MP joined Baljeet Singh Gill & members of GND Gurdwara Erith & Belvedere Sikh Temple this morning as they celebrated Guru Nanak’s birthday. They caught up with old friends, discussed the building project at the Gurdwara & its work in the community.

Am hoping that this will lead to improvements to the services offered at Upper Belvedere library. Have asked for an introductory meeting to understand what Inspire plan to offer once they take over operation of the library

Out this morning in Belvedere Village. Have asked London Borough of Bexley officers why these parking bays resurfaced on Saturday in Nuxley Road remain suspended & when they might be back in use for customers & traders. Also reported flytipping in Lullingstone Road on FixMyStreet

It's been the greatest of honours to serve Belvedere as a Councillor for the last 20 years, but today that honour has come to an end. My statement below thanks my friends across Belvedere for their incredible support along with a reminder of how public service can age you 👇

⏰️ Last Saturday before polling day done! It was a pleasure to speak to residents and remind them that Bexley Tories would mean more of the same poor treatment of Belvedere, with constant fly tipping and no CCTV to investigate crime. Time to tell them enough is enough!

Cllr Fosten welcomed council officers on a ward walk with the SNT to understand their priorities in reducing crime, the main issue: No CCTV. He also raised how to address fly tipping. There will be a meeting with the leader and cabinet member shortly to discuss the findings.

Our Belvedere Action Team, Cllr Sally Hinkley, Cllr Cllr Jeremy Fosten 🌹 and Anthony Riches, were out in Regent Square this lunchtime! Residents were concerned about community safety, and Sally even found a water leak to report. Well done, team!
