🍫Her Majesty the Queen officially opened the 5th edition of the #WorldCocoaConference in Brussels. She emphasized that #cocoa production should be deforestation-free, without child labour, yet through decent work conditions for producers.

#Belgium 🇧🇪, as Chair of the #EU 🇪🇺 Working Group on terrorism, is happy to attend the High Level African #Counterterrorism meeting in Abuja. Thank you, #Nigeria 🇳🇬 and #UNOCT , for this timely initiative to strengthen cooperation on the continent 💪

🛰️Redwire Space from Antwerp will provide 2 satellites for Proba-3, an ESA project to study the impact of radiation bursts from the sun on space activities, such as human spaceflight. Again, 🇧🇪 entrepreneurs on the vanguard for better and safer conditions for future astronauts !

Running from 2024-2029, the 🇧🇪 National Action Plan aims to encourage and support companies to respect and promote #humanrights in their operations.

While preparing the Action Plan, civil society & advisory councils gave their input during stakeholder consultations.
