@teachwellall Interesting that all the comments are about leadership. It often is however I’ve come across many environments where there have been groups of staff creating the toxicity. Naturally leaders have a role to play in tackling this however toxicity is not always top down.

Honest and worth a look at in greater detail. I believe Heads are also silenced, bullied & isolated in some places.

I was referred twice. Once by the council, 8 months after I resigned, rejecting a settlement. I was then referred again, 15months after I had resigned by the NEU. I always spoke out against injustice. Safeguarding matters I witnessed. Paul Whiteman

Paul Whiteman I reported safeguarding I was witnessing to the NSPCC. The retaliation was plain for everyone to see. I will not give up, even when those who should have supported me did. Paul Whiteman I hope we are kept updated on the Judicial review currently against the #TRA.

This is scarily similar to the experience of my dear friend and colleague of ten years. Pepe ❤️ @pepehart.bsky.social 🦋 was an incredible head teacher and leader. She dared to be different and speak out about injustice, poor practise or services requiring improvement. The truth is coming!
