Last week Year 13 pupil, Ollie A continued to display his talent on the 60m track at the National Indoor Championships (Lane 6). Ollie made it into the semi-finals, running a new PB 6.99s & we’re very excited to see if the PBs can continue into the summer season! 🏃🏻‍♂️

Following a series of trial events, Year 11 pupil, Will S has progressed from the West Yorkshire squad and is now part of u16 Yorkshire Academy! 🏉 This is a huge achievement and a testament to Will’s hard work and strive for consistent improvement! Congratulations, Will!

A huge thanks to Leeds Rhinos player, Tom Nicholson-Watton who volunteered his time to take the Year 11 team through their first Rugby League training session in preparation for their upcoming Yorkshire Cup fixture! 🏉🏉

On Friday, some of our most dedicated Rugby players travelled to York to watch England Rugby train and even got to meet some of the stars for autographs and photos afterwards!

Year 7 headed to their first tournament tonight and worked extremely hard playing 5 games. 1 win, 2 draws, 2 losses and lots of learning along the way! Well done everyone 🏐 👏

Huge congrats to Josh P who competed in the National Indoor Junior Para Championships in Sheffield. Josh competed in the: 🥇Long Jump (New PB) 🥇60m (New PB) 🥇1500m (New PB) In addition to this, Josh has successfully applied for the 2025 London Marathon Junior Para race! 🏃🏻‍♂️

🏆 London Marathon Winner 🏆 Josh P took travelled to London for the Mini Marathon on Saturday. Despite being 14, Josh took part in the u17 ambulant race & won! 🥇 Josh now has a wonderful trophy, a a full New Balance tracksuit & a £200 voucher! We’re so proud, Josh!!!

Last weekend, Year 9 pupil, Zak K was selected to represent Yorkshire at the Northern Inter-County championships. Zak competed in: 4x100m Relay 🥈 Helping Yorkshire secure the victory - congratulations!

Before half-term, Year 13 pupil, Ollie A travelled down to Lee Valley in London where he ran a huge PB of 10.76s 🤯 This places him 19th in England (u20) & he still has another year of competing before becoming a senior! A superb result & a testament to your hard work 💪🏼

Last weekend, 3 of our runners travelled to Sedbergh to take part in the English Schools' Fell Running Championships. A superb trio of results from Finley, Harry & Hannah meant we finished 11th in the country! We're so proud of you all, well done! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️
