Varsity came home from Brighton with a 9-0 victory last night. 7 of the 9 runs came on two swings, with Josh Sutrina’s grand slam in the top of the first, and Cal Tiner’s 3 run homer in the 3rd. Beckett Bacon again dominated on the mound, allowing only 1 hit with 8 K’s.

Varsity opened Continental League play with a 10-2 win at Douglas County. Jake Barrows led a potent offense (16 hits), going 3 for 4 with 6 RBI and 3 run home run. Grant Larson also went 3 for 4 and Beckett Bacon was again dominant on the mound going all 7 with 8 K’s.

Varsity won their 7th in a row and moved to 3-0 in Continental League play with a 3-1 win over Rock Canyon yesterday at a chilly Eaton Field. Beckett Bacon tossed another CG, with a rock solid defense behind him and an offense that continues to grind out at bats and execute.

Carson Munroe went 3-for-3 with a homer and tossed 5 scoreless with 7 K as the Varsity team beat Eaglecrest 13-1. McWilliams, Manuello, and Bacon also homered in the offensive outburst. Final regular season game is Monday vs Prairie View at Eaton Field.
