Year 11 were thinking hard in English today. They worked excellently as a team to interrogate their key poem looking to develop higher level analysis. Tomorrow we’re creating a web of links so they can apply their analysis to other poems! #inharmony #achievingexcellence

So good to be back at the theatre!

A weakness of our kids is reading sources. Following a homelearning I did a lesson on the message of sources. We analysed sources, worked out the message and then matched up knowledge to the source. Really revealing task! Lots more work needed - but a start!
