I’m amused at how BBC News (UK) reporters are struggling to contain their glee at the Conservatives defeats in local and by-elections. The reporting remains impartial but their faces say it all! #LabourSwing #GeneralElectionlNow
Fab few days on Diocese of Truro and oversight ministry course. We reflected on the challenges and opportunities and biblical models of ministry and leadership. So much rich input and amazing colleagues to journey with. #HappyVicar #ReadyForMyDayOff
A wet day, where the kettle broke, a lady I’m visiting is feeling horrible (but is so positive and gorgeous), and we have a new #AnnaChaplain in the offing. Weird but good day.
I’ve just received a letter from HM Revenue & Customs apologising for the letter sent previously which was mistake. I’d love to know how much the whole double mailshot cost!! #WorldGoneMad
Gorgeous day with a gorgeous friend and lunch cooked at Hannafore Hotel by my eldest. I had the plaice and it was beautiful! #retreatday #spaday #clergyfriends #selfcare
And he’s through to round two!! A couple of months of training and friendlies with those chosen today. I’m super proud, but also slightly daunted at the prospect of transporting him!! Hugely grateful for all the support and encouragement from Liskeard Looe RFC
I think I’d quite like to be landed gentry. To live in all this! And have the space to encourage biodiversity, and innovate sustainable living… #AnthonyHouse #CountryLiving #Cornwall

If you are undertaking a capital community project then I recommend you contact Dr Higgs first. Not only is the application process easy, but he’s a wealth of experience and advice. #MeetTheFunders
Thanks to BBC Breakfast I’ve just discovered Michael Spicer and have spent half an hour with tears pouring down my face. Where have I been?! If you’ve not watched him then do so now… the funniest and cleverest person I’ve watched in a very long time!! #politicalsatire
Systematically testing our defences. The season begins. #Seagulls #BattleForCornwall #TheWillDrawBlood
UK passes bill to send asylum seekers to Rwanda | Immigration and asylum. This is not in my name. I feel shame that my country has stooped to this level. We should be creating a deal with France and working humanely with people. #RwandaBill theguardian.com/uk-news/2024/a…
A few years ago General Synod considered a motion to ask parliament to consider clergy kids in a similar light to military kids with regards school places. Today I really wish it was the case. I’m excited for our next move, but our local school is oversubscribed. #ClergyLife
