Congratulations to Rachel Fowler from our Australia Transport & Infrastructure team who was recognised at last week’s prestigious Consult Australia Awards for Excellence.

Held as a gala dinner at The Eveleigh Sydney, Rachel, GM – Transport & Infrastructure Australia, was Highly Commended in the ‘Champions of Change: Female Leadership’ category for her work building a 135+ team with a reputation for excellence in project delivery and customer care.

We’d also like to recognise Luke Huxtable, Civil Engineering Associate in our Australian Airports team who was a finalist in the Future Leader category.

In Rachel’s words “I’m honoured to be recognised by Consult Australia as a Highly Commended Female Leader in the engineering profession."

We're proud to be selected by Manatū Kaupapa Waonga | New Zealand Ministry of Defence to develop P-8A Poseidon training courses for the Royal New Zealand Air Force (RNZAF).

Based on Royal Air Force and US Navy training material, Beca has teamed with Copernicus Technology Ltd Limited, Aquila Learning, and Catalyst Cloud to deliver this training solution.

In commenting on the exciting news, Brian Fearnley Business Director – Major Programmes, Beca Applied Technologies says “We are delighted to continue our support of NZDF Air Surveillance Reconnaissance Force capability."

It's great to see our client South East Water recognised on the international stage for their $150 million Boneo Water Recycling Plant upgrade.

This incredible project has been shortlisted for the Global Water Awards by a panel of independent judges in the 'Water Reuse Project of the Year' category!

Beca proudly delivered this project alongside our partners SUEZ and John Holland. The upgraded plant has increased wastewater capacity by over 50% and enables an additional 16,000 properties on the Mornington Peninsula to connect the main sewerage system.
