On July 3rd, a historic moment took place on Gorée Island. Amb. Marie-Geneviève Mounier and historian @rosemarysadlier unveiled a commemorative plaque at the House of Slaves, honoring #RichardPierpoint, an iconic figure linking Canada and Senegal. 🇨🇦🇸🇳

All set for Ironman Lake Placid. Some🍁maple syrup-based fuel for a gruelling 140.6-mile 🏊🏽🚴🏽♂️🏃🏽course. Some 2,500 bikes nicely racked-up against the Adirondacks. And a good night's sleep ahead, gladly 'roughing it' in an amazing setting. 😉 Technosport.
Pros such 🇨🇦 legend Lionel Sanders were done before I even started the marathon portion! 🥵 Once/year, it's full IRONMAN Triathlon 🏊🏽🚴🏽♂️🏃🏽. Next: #Ottawa 2025. Tough⛰️but amazingly beautiful.
