Congratulations to everyone who ran today #LONDONMARATHON ! π
Considering entering for 2025? please donβt forget small charities like oursππ
It's even harder for small charities to get places. We're relying now more than ever on those to enter the ballot for us!

One of our biggest achievements was becoming Thames Valley's Charity of the Year in 2021π
We might be considered a small charity, but always know we can make a huge impact!
It doesn't matter how small you are, it's about how vital you can be for othersπβ

#NationalSiblingsDay #oxfordshire #youngcarers
No matter how challenging this all can be, Young Carers enjoy and value the unique connection and relationship with their brother or sister. Something that we see so clearly when we go to home visits and on trips. ππ

#NationalSiblingsDay #YoungCarers #befreeyc
It's challenging to spend time with parents, with #youngcarers stepping up to help out around the home or with caring tasks. Many children not only care for their siblings, but also their parents too, which puts even more pressure on their caring roles.

#SiblingsDay
We know that for #youngcarers who grow up with a disabled sibling, they often spend a lot of time coming second to their needs. Their everyday life is mainly impacted by their brother or sisterβs routine and their abilities.

A special thank you to our ambassadors for everything they have done and continue to do to support Oxfordshire's Young Carers! We would be so lost without you! πππ

In 2022, we sadly lost one of our first original Charity Ambassadors, Hasnath Miah.
Working closely with our charity for over two and a half years, Hasnath always wanted to ensure he did as much as he could for those in need.

In 2022, our charity secured vital funding for our project to expand into Oxford. This area previously had no specialist support for Young Carers, with an estimated of up to 2,000 young carers across the city...
