I’m lucky to have a good friend that gives me the push I need to do as much as I can & the support that enables me to do it. Some people just get what #cancer is and help hugely to make the most out of each day.

6 years ago today I had my Prostate & pelvic lymph nodes removed. To imagine I thought life would return to normal-ish after 6 weeks & instead things completely changed but I’m still here and not going anywhere soon. #ProstateCancer

This confirms that calls for a boycott of the #Eurovision were not effective in any way in Ireland. I’ve no doubt there are more effective things that could be done like stopping the supply of money and arms.

The weather app says it’s forest rain conditions and looking out they got it right however Percy is standing in front of me crying for his morning walk. I suppose raincoats it is.

Disappointed, I’m going to be away, but there’s a full program of events #prideofthedéise to enjoy.

Was doing an at home sleep study to test for sleep apnea last night and when I strapped the tester to my chest Percy got a bit distressed and came over to sniff it. Dogs are just amazing. Looks like my fatigue is heart related and here to stay.

35 years ago today my dad died from #ProstateCancer . Near the end of his life when he was no longer able he asked me to shave him and this is one of the most important memories I have. He had always looked after me & is never forgotten. Love this pic of us.
