BU has announced the appointment of Karen J. Foli, Ph.D., RN, ANEF, FAAN, as the inaugural Louise Herrington Endowed Chair in Mental Health Nursing, the first endowed chair position in the history of Baylor’s Louise Herrington School of Nursing. She begins Aug. 1.

On Saturday, July 27, the LHSON was proud to participate in the Back-To-School Resource Fair at Fair Park in Dallas hosted by Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett, who represents Texas' 30th district, of which the LHSON is located.

LHSON faculty and students were at the Texas Nurse Practitioners Annual Conference. Congrats to LHSON alum and faculty member, Dr. Sharon Quigley who received the TNP 2024 Above and Beyond award. The Texas State flag was flown above the State Capitol Sept 7th in her honor.
