Saturday School was a success. BayTech has Saturday School twice a month. This is an opportunity for all our students to catch up on their academics and receive support in smaller classroom settings. 🤗

We will have a Parent/Community Meeting today. Light refreshments will be available starting at 5:00pm and the meeting will begin promptly at 5:30pm. Our Community Partner, Higher Ground, will be live streaming the event as well for families that would like to attend virtually.

The shooting at King Estates Campus last week hits hard. I had a chance to meet and talk with City of Oakland CM Noel Gallo, ousdnews School Board President Gary Yee, and Bay Area Technology School staff members to brainstorm ways to improve school safety and protect students and staff.
