Always look in the fridge. These TwoByTwo barrel aged saisons were tasting great last night in their taproom, and only 12 quid a bottle 👊🍻

Plenty of funk-edged rhubarbism on the nose. Mouthfeel is slick, I’d like more carbonation. Taste has a crisp dry tongue-click of moderate tartness, with a nicely integrated fruitiness. Light saisonic quenchment from Kernel Brewery.

Yes!! Aroma of burnt toffee and coniferous orange peel. Taste is a stunning combo of sweet malts and a gloriously bold citric bitterness. In an era of increasingly bland beer, this really does stand out, and it reminds you why you got into craft beer in the first place.

So the results are in. As expected, the main reason for airport drinking is sheer boredom. Personally I avoid booze at airports and on planes. You just end up dehydrated and feeling like crap when you reach your destination.

Had the regular version a few times but not this one until now. Aroma has a pleasant maltiness but seems a little muted. Taste has a lovely caramelism with a demerara-sprinkled pithy grapefruitness, and it hides the ABV very well. It’s great, just not as good as the original.

No I’m not drinking it from the can, so there. Canned two weeks ago = fresh. Provides gently spiced bready malts on the ground floor, while upper floors feature marmalade and mango. Sticky, dank, bitter goodness from John Kimmich.

My first time drinking Tree House Brewing Co.🍺 and this Red Fern DIPA has impressed me. Aroma is an uplifting frootwaft. Taste is soft and clean with an unusual limey banana tropicalism, finishing with a chalky dryness. I like!

Textbook hop-jabbed fruitbowlism from the legendary Hill Farmstead. Lemony limeyness with a passionfruit overwash, a grapey gooseberry tongue-click, and a nice dry finish. Lovely!

Lip-smackingly fresh slurpy dankoid stone fruitism with a citric pithiness, finishing commendably dry and bitter. A beautifully executed hazehog from Hill Farmstead.

Big candied orangeyness on the nose. Taste has a digestive biscuit base with an overlay of rindy citrus and an emerging woody herbalism, getting drier and drier. Solidly characterful IPAness from Hill Farmstead.
