The City of Batavia has opened a temporary Cooling Center due to the extreme heat. The Cooling Center is located at Batavia City Hall, 100 N. Island Ave. Residents who have at-risk friends, neighbors or relatives should check on them periodically during the ongoing heat wave.

Overnight parking on all roadways will be prohibited from Saturday evening, 11/29, through Sunday morning, 11/30. No overnight parking permits will be issued / the online overnight parking system will be shutdown. Reminder: 2+ inches of snow = parking on the roadway prohibited.
