The urban frog life of Adelaide has been enjoying the rains from last night. A short walk last night saw 33 individuals of 4 species!! Including this cute little peron’s tree frog (Litoria peronii) using a retaining wall as its home. #wildOz

We are in Kuching, Borneo for the 10th World Congress of Herpetology this week! This Magnificent Friend is a Long-nosed Horned Frog or Malayan Horned Frog (Pelobatrachus nasutus) and we met them at Kubah National Park on our first day in Borneo! 🐸

New Paper! We highlighted a loophole in Chinese wildlife regulations. For many species, only wild specimens are regulated for trade, providing opportunities for wildlife laundering. Hopefully, regulatory changes will happen soon to rectify this loophole. cell.com/current-biolog…
