King Charles III Coronation Cake Bake. Sat 22nd April at the Green Centre, Wat Tyler Park Pitsea 10am for 11am judging followed by tea/coffee and cake sale. Let’s do His Majesty proud and create the best cakes. We will be sending pictures to The King after the event.

Football tour to Heiligenhaus. With two of the UK lads falling ill, two of the German lads stepped up to play for the UK. The team ran out huge winners in the first game and narrowly lost the second 3-2. Very proud to have taken this team to represent Twinning.

Very busy time for Twinning in Heiligenhaus, Germany at their Statdfest promoting Basildon. Thanks to all the volunteers who went along and gave their time to help. It was very tiring but also some important contacts and friendships made. Our thanks go to everyone involved.

Yesterday we attended the Basildon and Pitsea Carnival. We were joined by friends from our twin town Heiligenhaus, and ladies from Borodyanka Ukraine. After a rainy start, the sun shone and we all worked together and had another great Twinning afternoon. Thanks everyone ☺️
