BA We had a massive blizzard and everything shut down. Everyone was sled riding and then it turned into the biggest snowball fight ever. It had to be 20 or 30 kids and some parents, it seemed like EVERYONE. We split into teams, built snow forts, and went Buddy the Elf on each other.

BA Lots of good winter memories. We weren't poor but didn't have money for fancy stuff like skiing or snowmobiles or anything What me and my sister had was a snow tube sled. I remember when I was 12 and she was 9 we'd take turns watching the road, sledding down our grandma's hill

BA Every Saturday from December 1983-1994 my dad would take me skiing. We hit every mountain north of Oregon, including Canada Up at 3am (at the latest), drive untold hours. Ski til dark, home by 3am. There was no wreck I didn't wreck and no odd lunch I didn't eat in a chairlift.

BA My Dad on a flying saucer. He had a dare devil streak. He went flying down the steepest hill we had on that thing. He crashed out about halfway down and it was asshole over elbows the rest of the way down!! It's burned into my memory! He lost his glasses.🤣🤣

BA My father grew up in a small town in Indiana (so, needless to say a lot of snow during the winter). This town featured a golf course. One particular hill on this golf course was on a pretty steep grade and somehow, the tectonic movement of the earth caused the land to create what

BA My learning to ski. Although I fell so many times the ski patrol came to my aid😂 I loved the experience. I then took lessons 😌

BA Honestly, the one I remember most is that freeze several years back. I was cold the whole time... everything shut down. And the happiest I was in the whole experience was when I got fed up and went outside and cut down a dead tree to burn. I was eye balling furniture so it

BA Once spent an afternoon in Sequoia National Park as a kid. The weather was a bit colder than expected so the siblings and I bundled up in a rather large blanket and sat on a picnic table together while in awe of the giant trees surrounding.

BA Your image is stunningly accurate- I loved sledding as a kid! I had nice long hills where I lived, perfect for sleds. We had a toboggan and the disk things too (what are they even called?), but I preferred having at least a bit of control over my destiny, even if misdirected

BA We lived on Ft Meade next to Chapel Hill with a massive hill for sledding. Never had a sled so made do with cardboard boxes or rain parkas. Sled until jeans were soaked, run home peel them off & throw in the dryer & repeat until sundown!

BA Most fun I ever had in the snow was when I was a young unicorn and had absolutely no sense of physics, dignity, or consequences. Tiny hooves. Oversized confidence. Zero traction. I’d charge into snowdrifts like I was invincible, immediately face-plant, pop back up like nothing
