It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Dr. Eileen McDonough, a cherished member of the Barry University community, on Tuesday, August 27, 2024. Her legacy at Barry University will endure in the hearts and minds of those she touched.

I am excited to have been able to present the Hometown Hero awards to those who go above and beyond in the performance of their job to support our community. While there are many who fit this description, those selected should be incredibly proud of this achievement.
