It’s #mentalhealthawarenessweek One of the treasures we are able to offer our guests is a stunning garden. Outside space is so important for our guests, to breathe and relax. It’s great in this lovely weather and to see our garden in bloom.

We have a weekly Women’s Group for women living with mental health conditions. They do a peer check in and an activity. Last week they went to Richmond Park and enjoyed a walk and ice cream. #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek

So lovely to be invited to afternoon tea with Mayor of H&F Council Patricia Quigley. It was a lovely occasion and we made great connections. A lovely end to #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek

Good morning UKGiftAM In the past week we were exhibiting at The Adelphi Building, in the heart of London. We had 40 pieces of art on display and of course did a card stall too. Our artists came, met people and talked about their inspiration, we’ve enjoyed it.

This is very good news, the fact that people had to be seen bedding down before outreach could help them, meant many people were not helped. This will hopefully improve access to services for our guests at Barons Court Project

Good to see an announcement for more funding of Day Centres, they are the first port of call for many rough sleepers. Barons Court Project could do with more staff, to cope with the ever increasing numbers of people we serve.

Sometimes things just click. We are so grateful to partner with the Bookshop of St Martin-in-the-Fields who have a long history of serving people experiencing homelessness. Our cards are selling well in the shop, bringing in revenue for us both. See, what their buyer, Farzana has to say.

Nourishing meals are just one aspect of our work, but important for those living on the streets. Yesterday we had Roast Turkey and today it was Kebabs, with lovely flat breads. One guest complimented the chef, in my ear shot, saying it was delicious.
