There's no moving on when PwC remains at the centre of multiple investigations, and has yet to produce the Linklaters report.

The committee will continue to work tirelessly to hold them to account.

So who can/should investigate what went wrong here?
Who has the teeth and capacity? Because it has a stench.,..themandarin.com.au/244939-kpmg-no…

Of course he does. Just the small matters of an AFP investigation, 9 TPB investigations, multiple CAANZ investigations and handing over Linklaters report. afr.com/politics/feder…

Remember when the Workplace Gender Equality Agency published the pay gap data from our biggest employers - one of the worst performers among the consulting firms was Bain who fronted our inquiry on Monday. In a sector that is lagging well behind the rest, more needs to be done.

Market power is certainly the name of the game whenever the Big 4 come to town. I asked Treasury officials whether the risks of market concentration mean Australian tax payers will be forever at the mercy of the Big 4 consultancy firms.

We need strong whistleblower protections if we expect good people to come forward and expose corruption. We’ve seen evidence of widespread wrongdoing and at the same time the very people who call it out get trampled on. We must do better to protect whistleblowers.

On my way in the Senate door to ask some (more) questions about how we should regulate and clean up the consulting sector. Looking for value for money, ethical practice and conflict of interest clean ups. Not too much to ask. One hopes.

South Australian taxpayers have been forking out a whopping $3.2 million a day for services from big consultants like PwC. We need real, ongoing jobs for public servants who are capable, qualified, and reliable rather than paying these corporate cowboys for overpriced projects.

Brad B made a big show of NOT telling the Senate how big a profit his shareholders are making but he ignored the suffering of ordinary Australians skipping meals and medical visits so he and his friends can get richer. We Greens want a divestment power to ensure fair competition.

Tanya Plibersek and Labor want us to conveniently forget that when it comes to environmental legislation reform, they've kicked the can down the road.

Without changes to these laws we will continue to see ecosystems destroyed.

This is a crisis, and Labor's response is shameful.

Labor and the Liberals are backing big supermarkets and their price gouging by refusing to support the Greens push to introduce the power to break up the big supermarkets and give shoppers a better deal. Dutton has vetoed the Greens bill, and Labor have refused to support it.

Labor wants to delay the wage rise for aged care workers by up to 2 years in order to stop childcare and NDIS workers from switching jobs and leaving shortages in other areas. These are some of the lowest paid insecure jobs in our economy. Everyone deserves a living wage NOW!
