I first ran for public office because I wanted to defend and protect women and children. Now, right before our eyes, Republicans are looking to rip food and health care away from women and children – all to give tax cuts to billionaires.

Kicking Americans off their health care to pay for billionaire tax cuts is absolutely despicable. I will be voting NO on this scam of a bill.

Did you know? In 1984, Baltimore City Council Bill 187 was introduced. The bill would have outlawed discrimination based on sexual orientation was introduced. However, it didn’t pass until May 23rd, 1988. It was enacted July 1st of that year.

Republicans have jammed through a cruel and callous bill that will rip health care and food assistance away from millions of Americans. All so Donald Trump can give massive tax breaks to his billionaire donors. It’s a gutting betrayal of working class Americans.
