Congratulations to Bahja Shuriye & SIMAD iLab on launching LEAP Microfinance. As part of a larger $3 million Qard Hassan program provided by جمعية العون المباشر through Premier Bank & implemented by SIMAD University , $300,000 in startup capital has been awarded to small businesses.
SIMAD University has funded 25 startups with $300,000, plus mentorship & training. This initiative is designed to inspire Somali youth and students to embrace entrepreneurship and build financial independence.
