The 2001 film #BehindEnemyLines was very loosely inspired by the real-life rescue mission of Capt. Scott “Basher 52” O’Grady by the U.S. Marines. On 6/2/1995 Capt. O’Grady was shot down over Bosnia and Herzegovina. He survived for 6 days, avoiding the enemy, before his rescue.
