The criminalization and banning of cannabis is an instrument of racist and colonial policy. The IOC should reconsider its suspension of Ms. Richardson and any athletes penalized for cannabis use. This ruling along w/ IOC denial of swim caps for natural hair is deeply troubling.

Happy 4th of July! Today is a glaring reminder that the “founding fathers” claimed independence from Britain, but continued to pledge allegiance to white supremacy, patriarchy, classism, and more. The United States has never been independent from those values.

There is no “guilt-free & ethical” way to visit Hawai’i, especially not now. No, we don’t need your tourism to survive. (Please stop with the savior syndrome) Even if you are a person of color, it doesn’t give you a “pass” to visit during a pandemic.

Aparthied Israel denies rights to "mixed couples." So if a Palestinian falls in love & marries an Israeli, they are prohibited to live in certain neighborhoods & won't get the same benefits as other married couples. The inside political fight is exposing this discriminatory law.
