Take six different colored cups, add in some STAAR release questions, mix with some fabulous 8th graders and you get excellent review time. Answers are color-coded and correct answer is to be on the top of the pyramid stack. #room308learns

Ft Bend regional National History Day day was a success for Sartartia Middle School We had winners in all but 1 category & 6 students will advance to State! So proud of their journey. I judged documentaries and saw how our public schools are supporting diverse needs and inspiring excellence

Stations in the Pod! Thursday we had stations going on both sides of the hall! In history: Andrew Jackson- is he a hero or a villain? Then across the hall in science- topographic maps. Lots of learning going on in the (self proclaimed!) best pod Sartartia Middle School

A5: Been to state and national SS conf- and they are good. I attend TMEA with my Orch. hubs and their dedication to having live music that directors can listen and learn inspires me to want more historians at conferences balanced with C&I of course #sschat

Semester exam schedule- gotta love it! Today 4th period and I got to spend 70 minutes together! We celebrated our last few minutes of our long class with some Rock Paper Scissors battles and a selfie. We have two hours together later in the week
