Our BSGDDrama department was delighted to welcome and share ideas with a teacher from PleckgateHighSchool this week as they look to teach GCSE Drama for the first time in September!

Schools coming to us from as far away as Workington to this event. Get in touch if you are interested in bringing a group of students……….

Great to have two colleagues signed up to MyBigCareer (mybigcareer.org), giving careers advice to pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds; another step in expanding our careers partnership work.

We are over the moon about the fact that we now have a “Partnerships Classroom” in school which will be used for many of the activities we do which involve students coming to visit us from other schools!

Partnership activities continue to be a priority as we move towards the end of the school year.

We welcomed year 5 pupils into school on Saturday as part of our bursary outreach programme. Boys and girls from local schools and Onside Youth Zones involved in practical science and maths sessions.

We are currently seeking opportunities to establish international partnerships for the benefit of all students - please do get in touch if interested. Looking forward to exploring possibilities with PymbleLC near Sydney, later this week.

The Enrichment Afternoon Wood Fold Primary School finished with both Y5 groups: keen ‘language detectives’, studying ‘what we wear when’ + weather phrases.
