In assembly this morning, these children were the first to receive certificates for one of our ‘Brilliant Beech House Behaviours’. It was a pleasure to award these certificates as we watch their characters grow.

Year 2 have loved practising their overarm throwing skills in PE this week, some even made the vortex whistle!

Reception really enjoyed holding ‘Henrietta’ the hen in the sunshine this afternoon! We learnt all about her comb, her wattle and felt her soft feathers. She had just laid an egg 🥚!

‘Celebrating’ Achievements and ‘commitment’ to clubs and achievements. Well done 👏

Wow! The woodlands look amazing - I know that the rest of Beech House cannot wait to resume our Woodland Adventure Learning sessions!

Year 1 enjoyed practising for sports day today outside in the sun ☀️ They practised sprinting in their lanes and learnt how to throw the vortex! The children demonstrated good collaboration and celebration skills, working in their house teams 😊

On Friday afternoon reception released our butterflies… 🦋 so exciting!

Year 1 are having lots of fun in outdoor adventure club.

In our assembly this afternoon, we said a fond farewell to Mrs. Sykes who will be taking early retirement from tomorrow. She will be sorely missed but we hope she will find some time to enjoy some new hobbies.

Gardening Club planted courgettes and cucumbers after school today 😀🥒 We have lots of vegetables growing now. We gave our pumpkin plants to nursery to plant in their big planters! 🌱

Goodbye Mrs. Sykes 👋🏼 We hope you enjoy your retirement. You will be missed 😢

Yesterday some of our year 1s took part in a brilliant morning of orienteering skills. They had fun playing team building games before they used their maps to complete the challenges. Thanks to High Lawn Primary & Nursery School for hosting & Enrich Education for running the event.

Reception have loved their topic on bugs! Today we looked at a worm farm. We were amazed by how wriggly the worms were!

We are so excited to welcome the parents of our new 2025-26 Reception cohort of children this evening to explore Reception Readiness.

The sun shone on our year 2s in their football friendly with Egerton CP School. Lots of goals were scored and the children had a brilliant time proudly representing Beech House before they move onto Junior Boys @BoltonSch Primary Division
