Outright Challenge 1 - We explored some articles, chose 1 that we felt was important to us then created a poster to show what it means to us and why we value it. Some children chose to create a paper poster and others explored using Pages on the iPad BPSRights Mrs Lang

On Friday we looked at our Rights. We picked some rights that were important to us and packed them in our ‘suitcase’ BPSRights

We were so engrossed with our BPSRights News Report that this is the only picture we took 🤦🏻‍♀️ But we created some excellent reports in our groups and enjoyed sharing them on our Apple TV 👏🏼

To celebrate World Children’s Day, we organised a ‘Crazy Hair Day’ combined with Children in Need. The ‘Crazy’ Hair symbolises how everyone is different but equally important 🌍 🤪

P3L discussed the next Rights Outright challenge. We created a short advert about what Rights we could see in the classroom. 🌟

Outright challenge 2 ✅ We had so much fun creating our news reports discussing children’s rights, how they are upheld and why they are so important. Lots of fantastic editing and acting went into our videos 👍🏼 BPSRights

We took part in the next Outright Campaign challenge which was to create a news report showcasing our knowledge about our rights. We loved becoming actors and directors and took our roles very seriously 🙈🎬 BPSRights

We completed our Rights Respecting Schools challenge by completing posters to encourage rights. We chose whether to complete these on paper or digitally. BPSRights

Outright challenge completed ✅ We made our own pieces of artwork showing how to be a good global citizen. P6 came up with lots of excellent ideas 🌎🏆 BPSRights

Last week we learned all about young activists and created a poster inspired by them. We talked about our BPSRights and what we would like to change in our community. Some very powerful messages were used such as ‘save our future’ and ‘make everyone equal’. 🌍

A few weeks ago we looks at Outright Lesson 4. BPSRights. We discussed everything we could do to become Global Citizens 🌏

For our latest Outright Challenge we were tasked with learning what it meant to be a ‘good global citizen’ - we created posters to share our learning 😄 BPSRights

We are completing Outright Challenge 5 and have discussed change makers and how we could be one. BPSRights

We recapped what equity and equality are and the difference between them. We demonstrated our understanding of this in a way of our choice.
