Phlegmasia cerulea dolens with extensive left leg acute DVT and concurrent May-Thurner syndrome. Treated with CDT and mechanical thrombectomy (Inari, now part of Stryker). Iliac vein stented with MedtronicAPV Abre venous stent. Near immediate improvement.

CLTI arterializations should be left alone for a minimum of 6-8 weeks before any Podiatric intervention. The only 2 drivers for early pod intervention are pain or infection, in which case we like keeping the met cartilage as a protector barrier against osteo. Thoughts on this?
