On Saturday, members joined the City of Boston Emergency Management Ready Boston Field Day at English High for touch-a-truck as well as taught attendees lifesaving skills like hands-only CPR.

Boston EMS mourns the passing of active-duty EMT James Lord. EMT 751, Jimmy selflessly served the City of Boston for more than 25 yrs working in Dispatch & Field Operations. A friend to so many, his sense of humor brought light wherever he went. EMT Lord will be sorely missed.

Boston EMS was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Paramedic John Bilotas (retired). John selflessly dedicated his professional career to serving the City of Boston for 34 years. His larger-than-life personality brought comfort and compassion to every situation.

The City of Boston encourages residents to take precautions as we experience high temperatures and a heat emergency through Friday, July 28. During periods of extreme heat, it's important that residents stay hydrated and limit outdoor activity when possible.

Patient Reunion: Today, EMT Rogers, EMT Hamilton, EMT Sohamy, Paramedic Dwyer and Paramedic Giunta reunited with James Monahan, whose life they saved on April 13th, 2023. Mr Monahan was joined by his family, who expressed their appreciation for the care provided by our members.
